The Fifth Quarter was a steakhouse chain operated by the casual dining division of Shoney's with two Birmingham area locations; at 195 Vulcan Road in Homewood and 1401 Montgomery Highway in Vestavia Hills. The Vulcan Road location closed in 1998.
