Florence Elmore (born Margaret "Rubé" Browne in Eufaula) was a notable stage actress.

She was the daughter of William and Margaret Elizabeth (Stevens) Browne. After leaving Alabama to pursue her stage career she performed in London and New York. She was often credited as a chorus girl, but achieved note as an acting star. She was the lead actress playing opposite Frederick Warde in the company at Hooley's Theatre in Chicago in 1881 and the resident leading lady at Daly's Theatre on Broadway in 1882.

Elmore married a man named Lewis and resided in Brooklyn. She headlined a command performance of "The New Magdalen" at the Montgomery Theatre on April 28, 1886. The performance, with former Confederate President Jefferson Davis in attendance, was staged to benefit the monument fund of the Daughters of the Confederacy.

Elmore adopted the name Margeret Bradford in 1890, and her stage career continued until at least 1928.
