The Flying G Savers's Club was a promotion sponsored by the Guaranty Savings and Loan with events at the Alabama Theatre hosted by Cousin Cliff Holman, who promoted the club on his Popeye Show on WABT-TV.

To join the club, kids opened a special savings account with a minimum deposit of $1. Regular weekly deposits provided tickets to that Saturday's party with a free film screening. The kickoff event took place on October 10, 1959 and the club lasted through the 1960s.
