Frank Limehouse

Frank F. Limehouse III (born July 17, 1943 in Orangeburg, South Carolina) is a retired Episcopal priest who served as Dean of the Cathedral Church of the Advent from 2005 to 2014.

Limehouse graduated from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1966 and worked in his family's clothing business. He later pursued a master's of divinity at the Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria. He was ordained by Bishop Edward Salmon in 1990 and served as assistant rector at St James' Church in Charleston until 1991. From there he was appointed rector of St Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Hartsville, South Carolina, serving until 1994. From 1995 until he was called to Birmingham, Limehouse was rector of St Helena's Episcopal Church in Beaufort, South Carolina. He retired as dean and rector of the Advent in January 2014.

Limehouse and his wife, the former Jane Mewborne, have two children, MacLean and Frank IV.
