Fultondale Founder's Day is an annual celebration inaugurated in 1997 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Fultondale. The festival is sponsored by the Fultondale Chamber of Commerce with help from the city and area churches.

Originally held behind Fultondale City Hall, the event has grown each year, soon relocating to Black Creek Park.

The 13th annual festival, held on August 22, 2009, was expected to exceed all previous events in scale with three stages for entertainers, 50 vendor booths, numerous kids' activities. Headliners include Rollin' in the Hay, Elvis impersonator David Lee, and Crabb Revival from Tennessee.
