Gregory Harrison

Gregory Harrison is an algebra and geometry teacher at Corner High School in Warrior and the father of singer Jordan Harrison.

In May 2010 Harrison was interviewed by the U. S. Secret Service after it was reported to them that he had used a scenario about a presidential assassination as an illustration of parallel lines and supplementary angles. No criminal charges were filed. Originally the Jefferson County School System planned to discuss the matter with him but not to exact further punishment. After a barrage of criticism, however, Superintendent Phil Hammonds placed him on 10 days' unpaid leave and placed a letter of reprimand in his personnel file.
