Gulas Supper Club
From Bhamwiki
The Gulas Supper Club was a private dining club opened by owner Gus Gulas in the early 1950s at 7401 Crestwood Boulevard. The menu featured charcoal-broiled steaks, choice prime rib and trout almondine. The restaurant provided private dining rooms for parties as well as the Olympia Room with live entertainment and dancing and "fountain gardens" for outdoor dining.
The restaurant featured the Ken Courington Band for weekend dancing and Chuck Roden appeared nightly in the lounge.
By 1990 the restaurant was no longer a private club, operating simply as "Gulas".
