Howle's Iconoclast, also known as The Register, was a newspaper published between 1911 and 1913 by G. M. Howle and J. T. Howle.

In 1912 Howle and Howle were charged with publishing libel against a merchant of Odenville but did not appear in court and were were judged in default.

On April 5, 1913 G. M. Howle was charged with publishing material of an "obscene, licentious, lewd or libelous nature" in violation the Section 1044 of the Code of Ordinances of the city of Birmingham. He was convicted.
