The I-20/59 split or I-20/59 junction (or, officially, the I-59/20 split or I-59/20 junction) is an interstate highway junction in Woodlawn where I-20/59 eastbound/northbound from downtown Birmingham splits into Interstate 59, north to Gadsden and Chattanooga, Tennessee and Interstate 20, east to Leeds and Atlanta, Georgia. The junction also provides surface access to and from 1st Avenue North (U.S. Highway 11).
The interchange, signed as "Exit 130", is located just southeast of Forest Hills Cemetery and northeast of Woodlawn High School, and is due south of the north-south runway at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport.
