Jenny's Light is a non-profit organization with a mission of raising awareness about perinatal mood disorders and providing help to families dealing with the illness. It is named for Jenny Bankston, a young mother who killed herself and her 7-week-old son, Graham, in the back yard of their Avondale home on December 19, 2007.

Her family established the non-profit soon afterwards and is leading efforts to aid detection, educate new parents, and create resources for affected families in Birmingham as well as in Minnesota and California, where other members of the family live. Randy Gibbs, Jenny's brother, is the organization's president.

In June 2008 the group held a fundraising golf tournament at Highland Park Golf Course, raising $50,000.
