Jim Hammond (born c. 1955) is a specialty knife maker in Arab.
Hammond became interested in knife making after graduating from Clemson University in 1977. His designs have been heavily influenced by military and martial-arts trained knife fighting masters. His specially-made knives for U.S. Navy Seals and U.S. Marines such as the "Flesheater" have proven popular, and he also fulfills custom orders for collectors and collaborates on the design of production knives for Columbia River Knife & Tool (CRKT) of Tualatin, Oregon.
Hammond is also a licensed glider operator, an avid golfer and fisherman, and a former official with Rotary International.
