"John's City Mural" is a painted mural on the side of John's City Diner at 112 Richard Arrington Jr Boulevard North in Birmingham's Central City. It was painted in August 2014 as a commission from the restaurant by the Magic City Mural Collective.
The mural incorporates a stylized Birmingham skyline taken from the restaurant's logo, with the addition of a silhouette of the Vulcan statue and the slogan "It's Nice to Have You in Birmingham". The original design by Creighton Tynes incorporated a painted sign reading "Eat at John's" with an arrow pointing to the restaurant's front entrance. Those elements were removed before the design was approved by the Birmingham Design Review Committee in June 2014.
