La Rocca Nursing Home

The La Rocca Nursing Home is a 75-bed nursing home located at 403 34th Avenue East in Tuscaloosa. It was founded in 1956 by L. C. and Evelyn Hardy, and is currently owned by their son, Lyman. The facility has been favored by aging fans of the Alabama Crimson Tide athletic program.

The facility was damaged during the tornado outbreak on April 27, 2011. It has plans to relocate to the Capstone Village retirement complex near the University of Alabama campus.
