Laney's Country Cooking

Laney's Country Cooking was a 120-seat meat and three restaurant located at 7601 Parkway Drive in Leeds. It was opened in June 2011 by Vicky Dean, and named for her granddaughter, Laney.

The restaurant served breakfast seven days a week and lunch Sunday through Friday, cafeteria style with daily specials. Customer favorites included chicken and dressing, squash casserole, and fruit cobbler.

Dean put the business up for sale in November 2023 with an asking price of $350,000. The business closed in September 2024.
