The Magic City News was a free 8-page monthly newspaper published by Operation New Birmingham in the 1980s and distributed in the downtown area and inserted into UAB's Kaleidoscope. It was edited by Lynn Grisard Fullman with Joan Adams as general manager.
The publication included news items and features publicizing the work of ONB and other civic boosters in improving the cultural life of the city and the physical health of the downtown area in particular. The News was supported by advertisements for local businesses.
