Magic City Post was a news and community website operated by Magic City Media from 2010 to May 2013. The site was founded by Wade Kwon and Emily Lowrey as a vehicle for positive stories about the city. Its offices were located at Innovation Depot.
Magic City Post was voted "Best Website" in the 2011 Birmingham News' "Birmingham's Best" poll and spawned the sister-site ShopBirmingham.com. Contributors included Mandy Shunnarah, Rebecca Dobrinski, David Gullatte, Brittiny Bookout Russell, and Mercedes Tarasovich-Clark.
