Maylene and the Sons of Disaster is a Christian southern rock and metalcore band founded in Birmingham in 2004. The band included vocalist Dallas Taylor, guitarists Chad Huff, Kelly Scott Nunn and Jake Duncan, bassist Roman Haviland and drummer Matt Clark.

Former members include drummer Lee Turner and guitarists Scott Collum, Josh Cornutt and Josh Williams.

The group is associated with Christian metalcore bands such as Ocala, Florida's Underøath (which Taylor formerly fronted) and tourmates Haste the Day from Carmel, Indiana. The band's name and image are derived from Ma Barker's famous criminal gang and the notion in their history that justice is unavoidable. Taylor writes songs from the perspective of Barker's sons, expecting divine retribution for their misdeeds.

The group's self-titled debut album was released in October 2005 on the Mono Vs Stereo label. In 2006 the band signed with Ferret records and has released two full-length follow up albums and an EP on that label.
