Millwright & Machinery Erectors Local No. 1192

The Millwright & Machinery Erectors Local No. 1192 is a labor union local chapter covering Alabama, Mississippi and the Florida panhandle from offices in Birmingham and Mobile. The Local is part of the central region of the 11-state Southern States Millwright Regional Council, also based in Birmingham. The regional council is part of the UBC Millwrights division of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America.

Clint Smith and Les Roberts are business representatives for Local No. 1192. The Local headquarters office and meeting hall relocated from 201 Oporto Madrid Boulevard North to 624 28th Street North in 2021. The local also operates three training centers, in Florence, Lauderdale County; in Moss Point, Mississippi; and its Central Alabama Training Center at 100 Commerce Drive in Pelham.
