Miss Hoover was an annual beauty pageant held at Hoover High School and sponsored by the Hoover Area Chamber of Commerce beginning with the 2008 pageant, held in July 2007. The contest was one of 50 qualifiers for the Miss Alabama pageant. The annual event went on "hiatus" between 2013 and 2015. When it returned, it was combined with a "Miss Hoover Outstanding Teen" pageant for younger women under the directorship of Bragg Scroggins and Keith Brashier.
The program was canceled again after the 2017 pageant, held in July 2016.
