New Deal Barber Shop in September 2007

The New Deal Barber and Style Shop is a barber shop located at 1701 4th Avenue North in Birmingham's 4th Avenue Historic District. It has been open since at least the 1930s, when it was operated by William McCord at 103 6th Avenue South. The current shop is owned by Erskine Simpson.

Simpson places a rose in the window of the shop for each victim of homicide in the city.
