The Jefferson County North Satellite Office in Gardendale is located at 651 Main Street, Suite 127.
It originally opened in 2006, but was closed in 2011 as the county addressed a financial crisis. However, funding was restored in 2017 and the courthouse reopened for business on January 23, 2017. A grand reopening celebration was held on February 1, 2017.

- Issuance of concealed carry permits by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office
- Manufactured Home Registration and Renewal
- Motor Vehicle Registration and Renewal
- The County Tax Collector maintains a seasonal staff each year from October 1 to January 31
