Paine Intermediate School
Paine Intermediate School was located at 7600 Gadsden Highway in Trussville, directly across the street from the Amerex Corporation. The school served students in grades 3-5. Opened in 2003, the school is named for Ned Paine and his wife who donated the land where the school was constructed. The school was designed by McCauley Associates and built by Gary C. Wyatt General Contractor. In 2016 the school was merged with the adjacent Paine Primary School and renamed Paine Elementary School.
