Pat Moore

Patricia N. Moore (born April 30, 1940 in Pinson) is an attorney, former acting director of planning and community development for Jefferson County and was a candidate for Jefferson County Circuit Court Judge, Place 8 in the 2006 general election. She lost to Mike Graffeo in the race for the bench occupied by Tennant Smallwood, who retired.

Moore completed her education in evening classes while working full time. She earned her Bachelor's in accounting from UAB in 1975 and her law degree from the Birmingham School of Law in 1980. She was an employee of Jefferson County from 1960 to 1990 and continues her private law practice.

In 2000 she ran unsuccessfully for Jefferson County Probate Court Judge, Place 2. She has served as an acting probate judge, though. Moore was a delegate to the 2004 Republican National Convention and serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Women Lawyers. Moore resides in Crestwood.
