Patti Callahan Henry

Patti Callahan Henry is a novelist and former pediatric nurse.

Callahan Henry, a minister's daughter, grew up in Pennsylvania, spending summers in Cape Cod, Massachusetts before moving to Fort Lauderdale, Florida when she was twelve. She graduated with a degree in child health from Auburn University and worked as a pediatric nurse until the birth of her first child.

She and her husband, Pat, raised three children in Norcross, Georgia before moving to Mountain Brook to be closer to his job with the Daniel Corporation.

Callahan Henry has been nominated for the Townsend Prize and the Southeastern Independent Booksellers Fiction Novel of the Year.
