Paul Ferrone (born 1950) was the executive director of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra from 2003 to 2006. His three years of service were marked by increases in the donor rolls, balanced budgets, and the two-year search for a replacement for music director Richard Westerfield that led to the hiring of Justin Brown in November 2005.

Before coming to Birmingham, Ferrone was general manager of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra in Hartford, Connecticut. Before that he worked with the Iowa State Center of Performing Arts and with symponies in Des Moines, Iowa; Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Southwest Florida.

After resigning in October 2005, Ferrone said he planned to look for further opportunities in economic and cultural development, ideally in the Birmingham area.
