Paul Francis Rothpletz (born December 26, 1872; died September 10, 1957 in Birmingham) was a bookbinder.

Rothpletz came to Birmingham from Walle & Co. of New Orleans in 1905 to work for Roberts & Son printers and publishers, which had become an "open shop" without worker representation in the International Brotherhood of Bookbinders. Soon later, Rothpletz was among the members of the newly-organized International Brotherhood of Bookbinders Local No. 162.

Rothpletz went out on his own by 1913 with offices in Potter Building at 1909–1919 1st Avenue North, which he maintained until at least 1940, advertising professional binding of magazines and periodicals, as well as medical and law books, with leather covers cut to size.

Rothpletz died in September 1957 and is buried at Elmwood Cemetery.
