Rachel Lindley

Rachel Osier Lindley is the news director for WBHM-FM.

Lindley grew up in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Riverside Brookfield High School where she hosted a pre-class in-school program. She earned a bachelor of science in journalism at the University of Texas in Austin and worked as a DJ and program director for the student-run KVRX-FM and as an intern for KUT-FM. After graduating in 2006 she moved to Marfa, Texas as an intern for the newly-launched KRTS-FM public radio network. She remained there for seven years, advancing through the ranks to news director and local Morning Edition host. She also completed a master's in business administration at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas.

Lindley began her tenure at WBHM on September 1, 2013, following the departure of Tanya Ott.

Lindley and her husband, Chase, have one son, Rhett.
