Ram Tool Construction Supply Co. was a family-owned specialty distributor for construction materials.
Ram was founded in 1967 by Dee Gonder. Mimi Head took over the business in the 1980s. By 2018 her daughter, Hillery Head was the CEO and Page Naftel was president.
The year the company reported nearly $400 million in sales and employed 1,250 people in 37 cities in 13 states across the South. The business moved its offices into the Hill Building at 4500 5th Avenue South in South Avondale.
On December 1, 2021 White Cap of Atlanta, Georgia announced that it had acquired Ram Tool.
