The Retail Block was a one-story row of retail shops constructed in 1922 on Block 48 at 2002-2008 5th Avenue North, adjoining the Molton Hotel in Birmingham's Central City neighborhood. The buildings were developed by the Henley family. The large glass storefronts were divided by stone-clad piers and topped with terra-cotta panels and tiled cornices featuring mythological and floral decorations in cream and blue.
Original tenants of the Retail Block included S. J. Cassimus' fruit stand, George Chromoko's restaurant, A. J. Keeling's flower shop and Gus Mayer.
The row was demolished in 1979 for construction of the Financial Center Building.
