Richard Yeilding

Richard B. Yeilding (born c. 1950) is a real estate development and tenant consultant.

Yeilding is a member of the family of Frank Yeilding, who founded Yeilding's department store. He got his start selling peanuts in the downtown store, and, after graduating from Birmingham-Southern College in 1973, rose through the ranks to become chief executive of the company from 1978 to 1996.

After Yeilding's closed, Yeilding became an executive at Colonial Properties Trust, where he worked on development projects including the leasing of the renovated Brookwood Village.

In 2013 Yeilding founded the consulting firm RBY Retail.
