Richard T. Batson (born c. 1953) is an architect who served as principal of TurnerBatson from 1979 to 2016.

Batson is the son of architect Edgar Batson. He earned his bachelor's degree in architecture at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He joined his father's firm in 1976 and became a principal in the firm of three years later.

In 1993 Batson and Wayne Myrick co-founded the design-build firm of Myrick & Batson as a sister company to TurnerBatson. That business later became Myrick Batson Gurosky (MBG) with the addition of Scott Gurosky.

Batson has also served as board chairman for the United Methodist Children's Home in Selma.
