Ricky Nance is the head of the Alabaster Parks and Recreation Department.
Nance was the Alabaster Athletic Director when his predecessor, Larry Vann, resigned and he was named interim director. His selection over 44 other applicants for the position by the Alabaster City Council was announced on December 11, 2009.
