Rosedale Senior Apartment Homes is a set of eight one-bedroom homes on B. M. Montgomery Street in the Rosedale section of Homewood for low-income seniors.
The units were built by the YWCA's YW Homes program, in cooperation with the Alabama State HUD Office, the City of Homewood, the Jefferson County Commission, and the Jefferson County Housing Authority. Funding was secured in 2002, construction began in 2004, and the ribbon cutting ceremony was held June 21, 2006. The units were designed to reflect the architecture of the existing homes in the area.
