The Ross Bridge community is a 1,700-acre master planned residential subdivision developed by USS Real Estate and the Daniel Corporation in the Oxmoor Valley near Shannon. The name comes from the historic Ross Bridge, now part of a public park alongside Ross Bridge Parkway.

The community has recreational parks and planned retail, office and live-work developments. Development of the community began in 2003. Residences are divided into the following neighborhoods: Bellevue, Butler Springs, Signature Homes at Chalybe, Glasscott, Haddon, James Hill, Grand Avenue, Birchall at Ross Bridge apartments, and Ashby at Ross Bridge apartments.

In 2011 Ross Bridge was named "Best Community in America" by the National Association of Home Builders.
