Scott E. Hanley was the general manager of WBHM-FM from 2012 to 2016.

Hanley grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He worked as a news reporter, anchor, feature producer, music program host, news director and program director before becoming a station manager in 1991. He served on National Public Radio's board of directors from 2002 to 2008.

He resigned from the station to eliminate the "700 mile commute" to Pennsylvania, where his wife and family reside.
