Scrollworks is a non-profit organization which offers music lessons free or at low cost, focusing on minorities and under-served areas of Birmingham. The program, with offices at the McCoy Center at 700 8th Ave West, operates through grants and donations, using instructors who work for little or no payment. Currently 10 instructors teach about 120 children.

Scrollworks was founded in 2008 by Nick Lacanski and Jeane Goforth, who also together founded Magic City Youth Orchestra and Metropolitan Youth Orchestra in 2007. The program provides opportunities for youths to join those orchestras.

Scrollworks has offered classes at Hill Elementary School, Cave 9, Carver Theatre, Avondale United Methodist Church, and Highlands United Methodist Church.
