South Hampton K-8 School (formerly South Hampton Elementary School) is a school in the Birmingham Public School System. It is located at 565 Sheridan Road in the North Pratt neighborhood. It was established in 1999 by combining the former McCaw Elementary School and Scott Elementary School. In recognition of the contributions of those schools' namesakes, the gymnasium at South Hampton is named in honor of George Scott and the library for Effie McCaw.

In 2013 South Hampton Elementary merged with the former Daniel Payne Middle School to become South Hampton K-8.

Under the guidelines of the Alabama Accountability Act of 2015 South Hampton K-8 School was designated as a "failing" school by the Alabama Department of Education in 2015 and 2016. When the list for 2017 was released, South Hampton was no longer considered failing.
