Southside Storyteller Festival

The Southside Storyteller Festival is a street festival centered around the Storyteller fountain at Five Points South. It was organized by the Five Points Alliance and held for the first time on the afternoon of Saturday, October 28, 2017.

The inaugural Southside Storyteller Festival featured performances by Real Life Poets, Sister City Connection, Ada Long Creative Writing Workshop, Green Bucket Press and Arova Contemporary Ballet. The event also includes a singer-songwriter competition. Organizers encouraged local businesses to put up "whimsical" decorations and attendees to dress up as their favorite characters from stories.
