Stanley Shafferman (born c. 1953) was the founder of Cosmo's Pizza and, later, of the pet waste removal business Poop Be Gone.

Shafferman graduated from Mountain Brook High School in 1971 and opened Cosmo's in Pickwick Plaza in 1986. He sold the business to Billy Caldwell in the early 1990s. According to later owner Leisa Bunn, he had left the country in fear of being implicated in a drug trafficking investigation.

Later, Shafferman worked at O. T.'s Neighborhood Sports Grill in Lakeview. In early 2005 he began operating his own pet waste removal business.

Shafferman and his wife, Peggy, a nurse, also breed Havanese dogs.
