Staying Well in Camberwell is a radio soap opera in which the characters from two African American families and their neighbors and friends confront personal health issues. The program is based upon the principles of "entertainment-education" that have been recommended for reaching audiences not reached by traditional health education and health promotion messages.

The drama is produced by Media for Health on behalf of the umbrella organization Champions for Health, which funds the project with part of its $13 million in federal grants for obesity and smoking-reduction programs in Jefferson County.

The program consists of forty-eight 3 to 5 minute episodes which air during call-in talk shows on WAGG-AM and WBHK-FM.
