Steel Toe Review was a literary journal founded in 2010 by M. David Hornbuckle. It was published online, with four printed anthologies issued between 2013 and 2016.
In addition to Hornbuckle, the Steel Toe Review staff included poetry editor Matt Layne, associate editors Halley Cotten and Jason Walker, and editorial intern Nicole Gibson.
After publishing issue no. 26 online in Spring 2017, Hornbuckle announced that the journal was ceasing publication.
