signs

  • I should be able to get photos of signs for Anthony, Bell, Cooper, Hoyt, Smitherman and Trautwein in the next day or two. I pulled Douglas and Sumners off their websites. If anyone locates any of the other signage in the world or online, let me know. (or grab a good head-on photo if you can) --Dystopos 13:47, 3 December 2009 (PST)
    • I was out and about last night and found a sign for Huey. I'll try to scan it, but if it doesn't turn out good, I'll make a digital pic of it. I also saw a sign for a 'Boss Tweed' for mayor, but wasn't in a position to be able to grab it. There was a Myspace page listed for 'Boss Tweed', but again, I couldn't see what it said. No idea who this is trying to poke at, probably Bell, Anthony or Cooper. If you want this sign as well, I'll try to get it later today. --Shanesv2 04:05, 8 December 2009 (PST)
      • Boss Tweed is a rapper with a new release called "Boss Tweed 4 Mayor". I saw the same sign on Crestwood Boulevard and looked him up. Think I should put something about him here? --Dystopos 06:52, 8 December 2009 (PST)
        • Perhaps he's a tongue in cheek write-in candidate ? Might be worth mentioning. I'm still curious as to how many votes Dunn will get. --Shanesv2 12:32, 8 December 2009 (PST)
          • I added the Huey sign to the files. Please feel free to crop it or clean it up if you so choose. As for signs for the others, I go across the city almost daily, and haven't seen any signs for anyone else. I passed by several polling places last night just to check. --Shanesv2 12:51, 8 December 2009 (PST)
            • T.C. Cannon has signs at the VW repair shop across from his former bar on 7th Avenue South. I just saw them today and didn't have my camera. If someone hurries they might be still there tomorrow. I think they were all hand-made. --Wheresdib 17:38, 8 December 2009 (PST)
