(Not) Tapawingo Road

Currently (see date), Google Maps shows both Alabama Highways 151 and 75 as Tapawingo Road. This appears to be an error. Tapawingo Road connects Highway 75 to Bud Holmes Road, east of the Turkey Creek Thomas Tract. Street view shows street signs reading "75 Highway" along the route, at least east of 151. --Lkseitz (talk) 06:41, 9 November 2017 (PST)

    • But Highway Dept. maps don't show road names, only numbers. And in case I didn't make it clear, Google Maps shows Tapawingo Road (connecting 75 & Bud Holmes) as Tapawingo Road too, making the "road" intersect itself. That's not going to fly with 911 for locating an address. Further evidence is that any businesses you click on along Highway 75 show addresses as "AL-75", not Tapawingo Road. --Lkseitz (talk) 06:30, 10 November 2017 (PST)

        • I'm sorry I didn't explain myself well. I was posting this to help head off anyone from looking at Google Maps and saying that Highway 151 is actually (part of) Tapawingo Road. Perhaps if I'd said "Google Maps labels both [highways] as Tapawingo Road" it would have been clearer. --Lkseitz (talk) 07:04, 11 November 2017 (PST)
