Cecil alone

I'm going solely by memory here. And I admit the memory isn't distinct, because I forgot about it until Cecil recounted it for the newspaper last Halloween. But as I remember it, after some event Cecil was rehearsing with a lady who used to sing at the Alabama. They were the only ones left in the auditorium, but there were a few of us out in the lobby. They came out asking who'd been backstage and we said no one, we were all out here. They insisted they saw someone walk across the stage behind them. A quick check didn't turn up anyone else in the Alabama. So, in short, what I'm saying is I don't think Cecil was alone when it happened (but I could be misremembering). --Lkseitz 05:31, 26 June 2008 (PDT)

Seat down

I've resisted, but I'm finally going to debunk the seat going down on its own here. Prior to 1998, the springs in many of the original chairs in the balcony — particularly the first few rows since they were occupied most often — were quite worn. Some didn't fold up at all on their own. Others might or might not. So some of them would fall back down at the slightest vibration. Hence if you sat in a seat towards one end of a row, a seat towards the other end might fall down just because of the vibration you caused. But believe what you will. --Lkseitz (talk) 09:40, 26 October 2018 (PDT)
