Trivia
During the terminal upgrade, announcements recorded by Greg Bass were replaced with new ones recorded by Morgan Freeman mimic Larry Davis. According to Birmingham Airport Authority marketing manager Candace O'Neil the resemblance to Freeman's voice wasn't a factor in the initial choice to use Davis, but soon became popular with the public.
