• "The First Sons [...]" makes clear that Bayliss Grace considered Smith to be the second child born at Jonesboro, knowing that Moses Fields had been born earlier the same winter. However, the date given by Dubose is February 6, which puts Smith after William C. Eubank. So somebody is wrong and I don't know who yet. --Dystopos 16:05, 4 March 2007 (PST)
