Conflicting information
The Birmingham News entry states, "The 'News Bridge' (21st Street Viaduct) was dedicated on July 4, 1891," but this article says the May 19, 1919 span "was the first major connection between downtown and Southside completed within the city." Does anyone know which is correct? The 1892 & 1898 maps at the UA map archive don't seem to indicate a bridge there, but the 1903 & 1911 ones do, so I'm guessing it's the statement on this page that's in error. --Lkseitz 09:07, 3 July 2007 (PDT)
