Talk:Street Railways of Birmingham

I bought a copy of this book from Harold Cox (the publisher) many years ago and it came with a loose-leaf, foldout map that showed the total streetcar trackage in the Birmingham metro area. I digitized it several years ago for my own collection, but was wondering if it would be permissible to upload it and make it available on this page? • That's a question for Mr. Cox (contact). By which I mean that a map is a creative work protected by copyright and the doctrine of Fair Use, which we employ when we need to in order to publish documentary photographs of people, objects and events as illustrations, doesn't really extend as far with creative works with self-contained value. I'm not sure if I'm making sense. But I think the most I would consider acceptable as "Fair Use" would be a small detail to show a specific feature, such as a streetcar barn or terminal loop. --Dystopos (talk) 11:24, 12 August 2016 (PDT)
