  • Where did the statement "The center was constructed in the 1960s." come from? The area along Fieldstown Road where this shopping center is located didn't exist until the mid-1980's when I-65 was completed through Gardendale and Fieldstown Road was rerouted and became a four-lane (really 5 if you count the middle turn lane) road. • There are plenty of references to Adams Gardendale Plaza in early 1970s phone directories. I'll try to find a better source to cite. --Dystopos (talk) 07:11, 9 January 2018 (PST)
      • What was the street address of Clayton Furniture & Appliances? Robert Matthews (talk) 07:37, 9 January 2018 (PST)
        • It was listed as "Adams Gardendale Plaza". Here's a link to a 1967 white pages with a phone number for the "Gardendale Plaza Shopping Ctr". (link) --Dystopos (talk) 08:12, 9 January 2018 (PST)
          • I would have to do a bit more research, but I don't think there is any connection between the three Plaza centers that McAdam developed in recent years and the much older one named Adams Gardendale Plaza. Robert Matthews (talk) 11:02, 9 January 2018 (PST)
            • I updated the text because they are two, completely separate shopping centers separated by approximately 0.5 miles. One was developed in 1961 and the other in the mid-2000's. Robert Matthews (talk) 19:09, 11 January 2018 (PST)
              • Thanks for sorting it out! --Dystopos (talk) 06:12, 12 January 2018 (PST)
