Taylor Watson

Hosea Taylor Watson III (born 1962) is a documentarian and former curator of the Paul W. Bryant Museum at the University of Alabama.

Watson is the son of H. T. and Madge Watson of Madison County.

Watson began working at the Bryant Museum in the early 1990s. He and Rick Dowling served as producers of the award-winning Crimson Classics and Crimson Comments series which aired on WVUA-TV and distributed on DVD. Watson and Dowling founded Gravy Productions with Ben Ellis in 2014. The company produced the 2019 documentary film, The Strip: Tuscaloosa’s Most Colorful Quarter Mile, about Tuscaloosa's "Strip" of bars near campus.

Watson also operated the McSanta.com "Holiday fun page" website which collected audio and video of Christmas songs and related content.

In August 2020 Watson was arrested and charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography. He was terminated from his job at the university.
